An independent press that started with a child's stories.

Cordelyn began with a four-year-old telling stories she couldn't yet write down, and a father who saw what they were really about: how a mind grows: trying again, asking why, changing your mind on purpose. The first books came from that. The conviction underneath them became the press.

The press takes its name from her, Cordelia Lynn, and the imprint carries forward what the stories were already about.

Across forms and ages, from picture books to long arguments, every title clears the same bar. What Cordelyn publishes, it keeps: a growing body of work meant to be inherited, not only sold.
